An academic’s Friday afternoon poem

Machteld inspired me to do more about my poetry. For some reason, only English is coming out these days, so it’ll have to do..

Clouded light

Occludes my sight

My mind grows dimmer in my mind

Poised thoughts amassing on its’ eaves

Then scattered like so many leaves

Yet vaguely I remember each

With clarity, beyond my reach
